Hi, I am Maddie McCann. I grew up in Tacoma, Washington and am the oldest of three girls. My family and I are very close, so it was hard to say goodbye when I left to go to school in Pullman. Now, I am a sophomore here at Washington State University. Currently I am a Communications major with a minor in film studies. My hope for the future is to one day work in the film industry as either a director or producer, but I would also be happy working in the media industry as well.

I have always loved movies because of the unique way to tell stories and it was something that my family has always bonded over. Other interests of mine include cooking, music, community service, and travel. I am also member of Alpha Phi and have an appointed position in my house. Keeping myself busy has always made me stay motivated and focused so I have worked on campus as a barista for about a year and a half now.

As I mentioned before I am a Communications major and hoping to work in either the film or media and entertainment industry. This blog will give me a platform to post media content I will be creating for COM210. The content will be made will showcase the skills I will learn on different Adobe programs and will be focused on a topic that will show be introduced.
